Our Mission
The Center for Men and Boys in Social Policy works with schools, service providers, policy makers and community leaders to help them further their missions. We do this in partnership by articulating an enlightened, progressive male point of view in social, physical health and mental health services, community life and public policy. We hold this as an essential requirement for achieving fairness and respect between women and men, healthy families and strong communities.
Our Vision
The Center for Men and Boys in Social Policy envisions a society in which all people, including men and boys, are free from sex-based stereotypes, prejudices and restrictions. In such a society we see men participating energetically in building, maintaining and protecting the health of their families and communities. We see boys preparing themselves happily and confidently for a full range of opportunities for fulfillment and success. In short, we see men and boys as the solution to — not the cause of — today’s most pressing social problems.
